Thinking global, roasting local. C4 is a member of the New Zealand Coffee Roasting Association (NZCRA) and our fearless leader Guy Griffith-Jones is on the board. This association exists to promote the high quality and freshness of locally New Zealand roasted coffee.

New Zealand has a unique coffee industry, we buy better quality beans, and the flavour really comes through in the cup. Good coffee is a matter of pride to New Zealanders.

The NZCRA has taken control of the New Zealand Barista Championships (NZBC) and these championships are the only industry recognised competitions run at a national level.

The NZBC winner qualifies for entry into The World Barista Champs. The South Island regional final will be held at C4 in March 2008 so keep watching this space for more details, photos and information.
