C4 Coffee March News update: NZ Barista Champion, Price Increase, La Sorrentina "Atomic" Stove Tops |

The New Zealand Barista Champ Finals took place at C4's Coffee HQ this weekend past and congratulations to Carl Sara who took out the title for the fourth time - and the fifth year in a row that the title has been claimed by someone from Christchurch!
Carl's now off to Atlanta to take on the best in the world... Good Luck!
In other news, we have had to raise the price of our beans for the first time in almost 4 years. We've held out as long as we can and tried to minimise the increase, but we are currently witnessing huge price fluctuations, compounded by the unstable and relatively weak New Zealand dollar.
C4 remain committed to offering the absolute best product at the best possible price and we thank all our loyal customers for their continuing support.
Finally for all you coffee mad collectors out there don't forget we've finally got our hands on limited quantities of the La Sorrentina stovetop, a fantastic premium reproduction of the classic Atomic stove top. You have to come down and check them out - they're amazing and functional works of art and make (in the words of Twin Peak's Dale Cooper) a "damn fine" cup of coffee.

That's right folks, the best Barista's in New Zealand are putting it all on the line on Saturday here at C4 Coffee HQ! It's the New Zealand Barista Champ Finals and the top 3 are going to Atlanta... will someone from Christchurch take out the top prize (yet again!)?
Come on down to show your support and see the best of coffee in action... starts at 12pm, we'll know the winner at 5.30pm.
And in C4 news we've managed to get the Bolivian origin back in - coffee origins are very volatile at the moment it would seem - so enjoy it while you can...

It's hard to believe but January is roaring along and before we know it those holidays will truly be a distant memory. We hope all of our customers had a great Christmas and New Year, and hope to see your faces here at Coffee HQ soon.
